  • Issues for effective roadside enforcement

There should be a protocol not just for law enforcement. How does an ordinary citizen stop a vehicle when it has been involved in an incident that has not been detected by the ADS? How does a witness stop a "hit and run" caused by faulty ADS?

  • Road traffic law breaches and the general safety duty, remote drivers and the issue of infringement notices

The market needs to be given incentives to buy safe vehicles by being personally liable when it goes wrong. Any nomination process needs to discourage a driver from trying to offload their responsibilities when they are in fact negligent.
