The NTC is working with governments and industry on the biggest change to rail since electrification. Together we're supporting rail to think and operate as a single system. This will improve safety, lift productivity, support local manufacturing and grow a skilled rail workforce. It is part of the National Rail Action Plan, to make rail, simpler, safer and better able to meet the needs of our growing cities, regions and ports.
