We strongly believe that Australia should implement the same/similar Heavy Vehicle laws of the England, UK that relates to Heavy Vehicles and freeways/highways, whereby it is mandatory that Heavy Vehicles only drive in the far left hand lane on all freeways and highways. The only time they are able to go into another lane on a freeway/highway is when they are over-taking another Heavy Vehicle but are required to return to the left hand lane on all freeways/highways. We would like this system implemented on all freeways and highways in Australia as it would demonstrate 'responsible driving of Heavy Vehicles' as it will give protection to the community who use freeways and highways.
