More productive intermodal facilities will help grow Australia's economy and help get goods to market more efficiently.
Intermodal transport is the process of transporting goods in an intermodal container or vehicle using multiple modes of transportation along the supply chain. The NTC's role is to ensure that Australia's transport related laws and regulations can support Australia's supply chain to operate as seamlessly and efficiently as possible, including in and around intermodal facilities.
